Week end breton

Ce week end nous étions à St Jacut-de-la-Mer, tout près de St Malo

retrouver, pour nous, une des plus belle région de France ...
to see again, one of the most beautiful area of France ...

mais retrouver aussi une maison au charme fou ...

mais le plus important retrouver des amis avec qui partager de délicieux moments ...
but the most important, to meet friends with whom to share delicious moments ...

Aux fourneaux

Vente de gâteaux à l'école de Lou,

avec mon petit assistant nous avons donc cuisiné ...
There was a sale of cakes at Lou's school,

"vive l'école" c'est une idée de Lou ...

et voici la recette de ce quatre quarts au citron :
- 4 oeufs / 4 eggs
- 250 grs de farine / 250 grs of flour -
250 grs de beurre / 250 grs of butter
- 250 grs de sucre / 250 grs of sugar
- 2 c à café de levure / 2 tea spoon of baking powder
- du jus de citron / some lemon juice
- du sucre glace / some icing sugar

Faire fondre le beurre puis ajouter le sucre et les oeufs un à un. Ajouter ensuite 2 c à soupe de jus de citron puis la farine et la levure. Verser le tout dans un moule beurré et faire cuire 30 min. Th 7 - 225 ° C. Quand le gâteau est doré (env. 15 min) couvrir avec une feuille d'aluminium (pour éviter que le dessus brûle). Démouler et laisser refroidir. Préparer le glaçage en mélangeant du sucre glace, un peu d'eau tiède et du jus de citron. Napper le tout et laisser prendre 20 min (pour le texte et le contour vous pouvez colorer le glaçage avec du chocolat en poudre).

Melt the butter then add the sugar and the eggs one by one. Then add 2 table spoon of lemon juice, the flour and the baking powder. Pour the paste into the buttered mould and cook it in the oven for 30 min
Th 7 - 225 °C. When the cake has a golden color (after around 15 min) cover it with an aluminium foil (so the top does not burn). Remove it from the mould and let is cool. Prepare the icing by mixing icing sugar, some lukewarm water and lemon juice. Pour the icing on the cake and leave it for 20 min (for the text and the outline you can color the icing with chocolate powder).
