Joyeuses Pâques ...

Pour Pâques il existe ici une tradition de préparer des paniers, en osier généralement, contenant : pain, saucisse, oeuf durs, oeufs décorés, sel et poivre.
In Poland for Easter there is a tradition to prepare baskets, wicker generally, containing : bread, sausage, hard-boiled eggs, painted & decorated eggs, salt & pepper.

Le panier est ensuite porté à l'église le samedi Saint où il est béni par le prêtre lors d'une courte cérémonie.
They bring the basket to the church on Holy Saturday where it is blessed by the priest during a short ceremony.

le contenu du panier est ensuite dégusté lors du grand repas du dimanche de Pâques.
the contents of the basket are then savoured during the meal of Easter Sunday.


Nous avons terminé notre ballade par une pause gourmande chez le pâtissier Batida ...
We ended our ballad by a gourmet breat at the pastry shop called Batida ...
